Guest book table instruction card?

My sister’s getting married next month and instead of a regular boring guest book she decided to get a thing called a Perfect Pear jar. It’s a little cookie jar, and guests just fill out a little card with a wedding wish, then put it in the jar later. She doesn’t want anyone sitting at the guest book table though so we were just going to make an instruction card so the guests knew what to do. We want something cute and fun if possible. Can anyone help us????

That’s a cute idea, but if they want to write something nice, they might need to sit for a second to jot down on a table, or they’ll end up scrawling something while half hunched over or worse, use someone’s backside….
Why not place the cards at their table settings, in a clear glass bowl or place strategically in a flat rectangular glass plate, with a nice pen to pass around. Leave one instruction card at each table, and guests will see it, pick up a card, write a note.. etc.
Place the jar on something other than a table, like your head table, or a nook in a wall.. etc. so they aren’t influenced to stop and make adjustments, linger.. etc.

Hope this helps.. we didn’t even have something like this.. a ” nice to see you, congratulations” was good enough for us :)
